In 2008 the Hamilton Wanderers 1st Team are competing in the Premier division of the Lotto Northern Region Football League. The league consists of the top 12 teams from the Auckand and Waikato-BoP federations. The teams for 2008 are:
Central United, Eastern Suburbs, Bay Olympic, Wanderers, Tauranga, Lynn Avon, Melville, Onehunga Sports, Metro, Three Kings, Papatoetoe and Mt Albert Ponsonby.
