In 2009 the Hamilton Wanderers 1st Team are competing in the Premier division of the Lotto Northern Region Football League. The league consists of the top 10 teams from the Auckand and Waikato-BoP federations. The teams for 2009 are:

Central United, Eastern Suburbs, Manurewa, Bay Olympic, Wanderers, Lynn Avon, Melville, Onehunga Sports, Metro, and Papatoetoe.
