VERTICAL TAEKWON-DO GLEN INNES

This club was started with the hope that we could do something positive in this community.
We want to share the art of ITF Taekwon-Do with as many youth in this area as possible. We hope
that this training and discipline can play some part in leading the youth to a more positive
path in life. We want this training to be affordable to all, where the uniforms are free, and
the grading and training fees will only cost $1o per month.

This concept of ITF Taekwon-Do training in Glen Innes, will just be the beginning of something
much bigger that we will take to other so-called 'under priviledged' areas such as Mangere and
to other places that ITF Taekwon-Do does not have a club.

The name of the club "VERTICAL" was created as the meanings behind it are appropriate to what
we are trying to do. We want the youth to rise up, aim high, set goals high and drive hard
towards them.

The club motto: "Train hard, aim high", is exactly what is needed to be done by ourselves, as
the instructors and the students too, if they are to see positive results.

We want to teach the youth of Glen Innes all we know about ITF Taekwon-Do, the benefits the art
has given us and the benefits that continue on still.
